Hair Cut Philosophy
At Safe Space Salon, nothing is gender-specific. We don’t differentiate between “men’s” cuts and “women’s” cuts and we won’t charge one gender more or less for the same service than the other. Each stylist has their own hourly rate based on level of expertise. The cuts are tiered incrementally based solely on the length of your hair when you come in and the estimated time it takes, from 30 to 90 minutes, to cut that length, depending on the complexity of your cut, and density of your hair, we may ask you to book differently in the future if we need more or less time.
The only outlier here would be our curly cuts which are specialty cuts to help optimize your style for maximum curl and volume.
Safe Space Salon offers an accessible haircut program! If you are experiencing financial hardship, please let us know you are in need of an accessible cut. We have each pledged to do a certain number of free and reduced cost haircuts per month! We love to give back to our community.
Fantasy Color
Our fantasy color services are charged by the hour, ensuring that you receive personalized attention and expertise every step of the way.
Depending on the complexity of your goal, the amount of hair, and your starting point, our fantasy color services may take anywhere from 2 to 9 hours. Typically, fantasy color services involving bleach are in the 4-5 hour range.
We offer both permanent and semi-permanent options for our vivid colors.
Waxing Services

If you desire a silent appointment, book with Panduh and put it in your notes. Aside from the consultation, you can enjoy a conversation free appointment.
Anyone needing a private appointment, please book with Panduh. Whether you wear a hijab, a wig, or if you just want more privacy, we can accommodate.
